Terms of Use

1. The service

Review Budz is a community-led catalogue and review service designed for UK adults using prescribed cannabis products. It is not a clinic, pharmacy, dispensary, medical-record service, or provider of medical advice. Reviews describe personal experiences and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for another person. Always make treatment decisions with your prescribing clinician.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Review Budz and must comply with the law that applies to you. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of the service where reasonably necessary for safety, maintenance, legal compliance, or product improvement.

2. Accounts and community rules

• Keep your sign-in details secure and use one account per person.
• Post only honest reviews based on your own experience.
• Keep comments and replies relevant to the review. Do not use them for harassment, spam, private medical advice, promotion, or arranging the sale or supply of controlled substances.
• If you optionally select a prescribing clinic, understand that the clinic name will appear publicly on that review. Choose Other or leave it blank if you do not want to identify the provider.
• Do not post fake, copied, paid-for, incentivised, misleading, abusive, illegal, promotional, or irrelevant content.
• Do not upload prescription documents, clinic letters, patient identifiers, names, addresses, faces, or other personal information about yourself or anyone else.
• Keep review photos focused on the relevant product and do not upload content you do not have the right to share.
• Do not use Review Budz to sell, arrange supply of, advertise, or encourage unlawful use of controlled substances.

You are responsible for the content you submit. We may remove or limit content, review access, photo uploads, or accounts that breach these Terms or put the community, privacy, security, or service at risk.

3. Your content

You retain the rights you own in reviews, ratings, comments, replies, photos, and other content you submit. You grant Review Budz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, format, display, distribute within the service, moderate, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is needed for backups, moderation, security, accounting, legal obligations, or to preserve the integrity of community records.

Do not upload content that infringes someone else's rights. If you believe content infringes your rights or exposes private information, contact reviewbudz@dibsmcmedia.com.

4. Review Budz database and permitted use

The Review Budz name, branding, software, catalogue compilation, product matching, classifications, scoring, aggregation, database structure, and service content are owned by Review Budz or its licensors and may be protected by copyright, database right, trade-mark and other intellectual-property laws.

We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended community purpose. Except where the law does not allow a restriction, you must not without our prior written permission:

• scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, bulk-download, copy, extract, index, mirror, republish, resell, or systematically retrieve any part of the service or database;
• use bots, scripts, automated tools, AI agents, data-mining tools, or similar means to access or collect Review Budz content or data;
• create, train, enrich, benchmark, or operate another database, model, product, or service from Review Budz content or data; or
• circumvent rate limits, security controls, access controls, or technical measures.

5. Supporter subscriptions and payments

Review Budz Supporter is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the features shown in the app at the time of purchase. The applicable App Store or Google Play checkout shows the current price, tax (where applicable), billing period, renewal terms, and any offer before you confirm payment.

• Apple or Google processes the payment; Review Budz does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through your Apple or Google account settings.
• You keep Supporter access until the end of the period already paid for, subject to the store's billing and cancellation rules.
• You can use the in-app Restore purchases option where you are eligible to restore a purchase.
• Refund requests for store-billed purchases are handled under the applicable Apple or Google policy and your statutory consumer rights.
• We may change future pricing or features, but the relevant store will present applicable price and renewal information as required before a charge or renewal takes effect.

Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.

6. Privacy, availability and liability

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep it reliable and secure, but do not promise that every review, catalogue field, notification, or feature will always be available, complete, or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Review Budz is not liable for decisions made using community content, loss caused by another user's content, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

7. Changes, ending access and contact

We may update these Terms as the service, law, or safety requirements change. Where an update is material, we will ask you to accept the new version before you continue to use the service. You may stop using Review Budz and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
