Privacy Policy

Review Budz is a community review app for adult medical cannabis patients. This policy explains what information the app collects, why it is used, how subscriptions are handled, and how to contact us about privacy questions.

Information you provide

Account details such as your email address and display name.
Profile information you choose to add, such as an avatar or public display details.
Reviews, ratings, comments, replies, notes, effect tags, optional prescribing-clinic selections, alerts, favourites, and other community activity.
Photos you upload to reviews or your profile.
Reports, moderation messages, or support messages you send to us.

Information collected automatically

Authentication, device, and app-session data needed to keep you signed in.
Basic app diagnostics, crash information, and usage events used to improve reliability.
Subscription status and entitlement data from Apple, Google Play, and RevenueCat.
Moderation and security signals used to protect the community and enforce app rules.

How Review Budz uses information

To create and manage your account.
To publish community reviews, ratings, comments, replies, photos, optional clinic selections, and product feedback that you choose to share.
To unlock Supporter features when Apple, Google Play, or RevenueCat confirms an active subscription.
To moderate unsafe, irrelevant, illegal, offensive, or privacy-invasive content.
To prevent abuse, investigate reports, improve app performance, and maintain the product catalogue.
To respond to support, privacy, safety, or account questions.

Review Budz is not a private medical record service. Do not upload prescription labels, clinic letters, patient IDs, names, addresses, selfies, or anything that identifies you or another person.

Subscriptions and payments

Review Budz Supporter subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google process payments directly. Review Budz does not receive or store your full payment card details.

RevenueCat is used to help validate subscription status and unlock the Supporter entitlement across devices signed in to the same Review Budz account. The app stores subscription status such as active, expired, renewal date, product identifier, and store environment where needed to provide access and support.

Photos and community content

Reviews, ratings, comments, replies, optional prescribing-clinic selections, public profile details, and review photos may be visible to other users of the app. Uploaded photos may be reviewed, hidden, or removed if they are irrelevant, low quality, duplicated, unsafe, expose personal data, or breach Review Budz community rules.

If you delete content or request deletion, some records may remain for a limited period where needed for backups, moderation, security, accounting, or legal compliance.

Service providers

Review Budz uses trusted service providers to operate the app. These may include Firebase and Google Cloud services for authentication, database, storage, app distribution, diagnostics, and notifications; RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management; Apple and Google for app distribution and in-app purchases; and email or support tools where needed to respond to you.

Your choices and rights

You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
You can edit or remove some profile and app content from within Review Budz.
You can contact us to ask for account deletion, privacy access, correction, or deletion support.
You can choose not to upload photos or public profile details.

To make a privacy request, email reviewbudz@dibsmcmedia.com from the email address connected to your Review Budz account where possible.

Data retention and safety

Review Budz keeps information for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain community content, support subscriptions, comply with platform and legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and keep backups. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect app data, but no service can guarantee perfect security.

Children

Review Budz is intended for adults. The app is not intended for children, and users must not upload content involving minors or use the app to target, exploit, or endanger children.

We may update this policy as Review Budz changes. The latest version will be published on this page with the updated date above.
